Blocking a User
Blocking is the fastest way to stop someone contacting you. It’s private, and you can undo it at any time.

How to Block a User
Right Click on their username or profile picture
From the menu click on Block
A pop-up will open asking you to confirm you wish to block them
What blocking a user does
They are unable to send you DM’s or invite you to a group DM
Their friend requests will show as sent, but will never reach you.
Their messages are hidden and collapsed within the server or group DM you share
Blocked Users in Group Chats
When you join a group chat that someone who has been blocked is in, you will receive a pop-up message to notify you of this.
You can then choose to leave the group silently without a system message informing them
You will both stay in the chat, but their messages will remain collapsed and hidden as they do in a server
If you start a group call, the blocked party it will not ring them, however they can still see that a call is on-going and join it
What blocking a user doesn’t do
Remove you them from shared servers
Report them to Flackle Support
If someone is harassing you, block and report them. Only a report lets the Flackle Team act. Reports are anonymous to the person you report.
Getting around a block
Contacting someone again from another account after they’ve blocked you breaks our Guidelines. If it happens to you, report it. Include the new account’s username and any other supporting information.
If you are under 18
Adults can’t start a DM with you unless you’re friends, and by default they can’t send you friend requests. You can still block anyone.
Unblocking a User
You can follow the exact steps you did to block them in the first instance.
Or you can go to your Friends section and from the Blocked tab you will be able to see a list of users you have blocked. From there you can click on the x next to their name to remove the block.
