Reporting & Blocking

Reporting Content

If something on Flackle breaks our Community Guidelines, report it. Good-faith reports are always okay, even if we decide no rule was broken.

Reporting in-app

Right-clicking on a message posted in any channel within a Flackle server will bring up the context menu. From this you are able to report the content of the message by clicking on Report Message.

From here you can choose from a selection of reasons. Simply select the option that is most relevant to the content. You can also use Other Rule Violation if the reason isn’t listed.

Clicking on any of these options will take you through to a sub-menu, where you can select from an additional reason for your report, before going on to give context and the reason behind your report before sending it off to our Community Team for review.

Anonymous Reports

The in-app tool is the fastest route for reporting content on Flackle. It attaches the exact messages and context automatically and keeps your identity from the person you’re reporting.

Next Steps

  • We preserve the relevant content and context, then check it against our Guidelines and act if a rule was broken.

  • Serious categories get priority review, and reports involving minors are prioritised.

  • We may ask you for more information, or tell you that action was taken (without specifics).

  • Deleting a message doesn’t remove it from a report. Deleted messages stay available to our team for 30 days, so report things when you see them.

  • We don’t tell the reported person who reported them, except where the law requires it.

Reporting something from a call

Calls are end-to-end encrypted, so we can’t see or hear them. Please include a screenshot or screen recording. Flackle doesn’t have built-in call recording. We weigh evidence alongside context, and submitting fabricated evidence breaks our rules.

Child safety
Never download, screenshot, or forward child sexual abuse material, even to report it, because sharing it is illegal. Give us the link, username, or message ID instead. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services as well.

Can’t use the app?
Parents, guardians, and people without an account can email abuse@flackle.com with links, usernames, user and message IDs, any screenshots or video, and a description of what happened.
